M's bed has been on the floor for almost two years now because he is an active sleeper and we didn't want him to fall out. Last night, he got a bed frame from my in-law's bedding store. I had already bought him a bed skirt and a under bed rolling bin to store his art projects. He loves little updates to his room like this, so all the changes made him so happy!
As I was walking out of his room after telling him a story, thinking about what he was going to dream about and singing him a song, I said "I love you", and to my surprise, he responded "I love you too". Heart melts.
