We went out this evening and heard that the whales were close in about an hour prior to our arrival! Curses you day job!!! The whales were way far out in the distance by the time we arrived this evening and one was slapping his tail like crazy! Was using a borrowed camera since I hadn't taken mine to work today - thank you Engineering Division! Collaged & Cropped the whale tail! Hope you enjoy the magic today.

You've got no complaints from me! When we were in Hawaii, I saw just about this many whale tails (and nothing more) and I was thrilled! I DID wonder if the crowds would dwindle as the work week got underway... I'm sorry for *both of us* that I don't have more of your fabulous photos! I've been out there sharing them/your links with everyone!
@Weezilou You two are awesome! Your enjoyment from these keep me encouraged to keep on shooting! Apparently we'd missed a lot of whale action earlier in the day (darn job)!
