Driving through the Avenue of The Giants... there was a "corn" field. We stopped later in the day when the light was not too harsh... the field was amazing!!! Sun Flowers of all kinds! Veggies (corn included), chilies, wonderful barbed wire, Stellar Jays eating seeds from the sunflower heads, a cottontail and the backdrop... gorgeous redwoods! Magical - definitely did not get cheated this vacation. Can't wait for the next trip! Magical time with wonderful people - just wow.
