Another treat this past (magical) Friday! We don't see these beauties very often - and I'm not even going to pretend this is a good photo - he and his tree were just way far away! Glad I took a pic anyway cuz looking back through the photos - it wasn't the motion sickness medicine I took - it truly was an amazingly magical afternoon! The only thing that I really didn't even try and get a pic of was the young golden eagle - but I got to see him! Being present counts ;-) Thank you for all your kind words and comments on my photos - I've been remiss in responding of late but will get on it! Know every comment is much appreciated and again - seriously, keeps me motivated and shooting every day - even if it's not the photo I share lol Thank you for your inspiration!

This looks like a red-tail hawk (they have belly bands) Beautiful birds. They're around pretty often where I am and I never tire of trying to get good photos!
