Newly Minted... Wings

This Monarch was hanging in the yard - @soylentgreenpics spotted it. It was fresh and newly emerge he suspected and I agree - the wings werer too perfect. It finally took off after a very very long time - then it came back and landed above my head - just long enough for me to get up and get a pic. Hope all are having a wonderful weekend!
