This is one of the little buggers that own our backyard feeder but from Sept. 2017 - I went back to find a pic that to me, didn't look as if it was smoke filled. I just needed some blue sky today.

I hear you. After our horrendous 6 months of bushfires and the subsequent smoke, stench, Smokey skies and blurred orange sun, the need for clear blue skies is huge. Hoping you are safe, it’s been a shocker of a year that just keeps punching. Beautiful capture of the bird :)

Lovely capture of this little hummer! The smoke from fires in Washington state and California invaded our Pacific Northwest vacation escape yesterday morning, turning the skies from brilliant blue like your photo to dingy gray mist. We must return to Southern Ca this weekend where I hear our skies are polluted and everything is covered in ash. Not really wanting to return to all that...
