I've been hanging out with a lot of honorary mayors in Houston.
This lovely lady was attending a Thanksgiving dinner for seniors held at a local church.
It was a lovely event.
But an hour and a half into it we had still not gotten to the food.
Everyone had to sing a song or say a prayer or give a sermon or sing another song or another prayer.
One pastor kept telling us that patience was a virtue.
I agree with this. I also think I need to work on that virtue because I didn't make it all the way to the food portion of the event.
