Couldn't start March with a gap showing in February! An opportunity to slot in an extra shot from our trip to Worcester - this window towered over the great west door of the cathedral up into the roof and made everyone stand in awe when we arrived. (The apex to the door is the point at the bottom)
Those who know me know how much I like coloured glass, so you can imagine I was in heaven! If you have the time to view it enlarged, the colours really glow out against the black.
Hi again! Found this photo of the window from the outside.. for anyone who might be interested... I had forgotten how huge it really is! (If the adverts flash up you can think of me as the 'before' ones!!) :) http://uk.ask.com/wiki/Worcester_Cathedral
PS It's the big window in the middle at the front. The tower in the central back is the one I climbed 235 spiral steps and from where I took the photo on 25.2.12 (facing roughly this way)
@helstor Hi Helge! Well it was indeed huge, but Worcester Cathedral seems dwarfed by your wonderful shot of the cathedral at Trondheim today! Here's a link to the front where you can see the window from the outside and get a better idea of scale if you get a minute. Glad you had a good weekend away! http://uk.ask.com/wiki/Worcester_Cathedral
