The line continues.....
Time to take the chain off my specs and crash out! My colleagues tease me about the chain but I'm always losing stuff and as I race from table to table, class to class, only needing them for reading, I'd lose them in minutes! Well, the leavers' service is over, the books packed away, the building locked, school's out for summer! I can start to chill now......
##PS I came back to this photo and heavily 'burned' the area around the chain as I didn't think it showed up on the weekly thumbnails. Don't like it as much now but it was for the 'greater good' :}
So grateful to you for your lovely comments on my finishing line shot - you're all marvellous! Have a great weekend :)
Happy Holidays. Hope you get a few days to just veg out to clear the mind for a relaxing holiday period...oh and yes this is another great shot for the line series.
Yay! Enjoy your summer! You deserve the break! My kiddos have been home since May 17 and I have to admit, with every school supply I buy, I look forward to the bell of another school year ringing again!
Love the pale blue specs on the purple background. How on earth did you get this to line up perfectly with your other thumbnails? Great job. So clever.
@christiehicks Wotcha! Thanks for calling by! You'll wish you never asked.... I had no idea how to do it, then worked out that as the thumbnails are square, if the line starts and ends half-way down each time, it should near enough line up... so far so good! The specs are silvery and the floortiles brown, I upped the warmth after downing the colourtones a little and did an orton effect that helped with the shine. The chain, being light, kind of got lost so I burned around it rather clumsily but as the floor was mottledy I went with it. :)
this is so cool, I didn't realize the thumbnail lines connected but you did an awesome job! I should get a chain for my reading glasses, I have about 4 pairs but still can never find them :)
