A Thorny Problem... by filsie65

A Thorny Problem...

Having a troublesome day full of thorny problems I ventured into the garden for fresh air and inspiration but came across this enormous bramble. Being a bit of an optimist and philosopher I noted that thorny branches often bear fruit or flowers and told myself my troubles would soon become memories. This one, however, was viciously hacked off and chopped into the bin. I felt a lot better ;)

Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my 'sparks' shot yesterday - George only burned one set of old notes but it still felt better! Have a marvellous long weekend :)
Great shot and nice background :)

Great capture Phil, if only life's thorny problems could be disposed off so readily.

I agree with Tony, if life didn't have it's thorns the rose wouldn't be as beautiful :)

You have no idea how much of this we have hacked and slashed in our garden! We still have enough fruit bearing thorns though ;o) Lovely purpley background in this spiky shot xx

I hate thorny days. I get more of them than not these days. This is a great shot. Love the focus. Thorny stems beware!

your comments remind me of the song The Rose by Bette Midler - one of my favorites:). Hope getting rid of this thorny issue clears some things up!
