There is so much wrong with this shot, I don't know where to begin. It was a valiant attempt at a patriotic shot, but there just weren't enough red or blue smarties and I could only think of one way to get white smarties.... I would have another go, but the smarties have all mysteriously disappeared. I'll have another go tomorrow, and the day after......
Grateful thanks to everyone who called by to have a look at the sunset with me yesterday... so glad as always for your good company :)
Funny that you guys call those Smarties! Our US Smarties are dry, powdery pastel (tiny) sweet tart things. I love your creativity and determination! I think it came out well!
OMG!!! In the thumbnail you can tell what it is! Great idea! Very creative and inventive! And now I want smarties!!! My sweetheart needs to get on the stick and get me some! Although he can't go back to work yet since he's still recovering from his heart surgery a week ago. I guess my smarties will have to wait. ... unless you can get me my fix!! LOL
Hmmmm, wonder what happened to those smarties?? What a mystery ;o) A great attempt. I knew it was a union jack before I read the title btw so you obviously did something right and you deserve full credit for arranging them xx
I never heard of Smarties until recently...from an elementary teacher I volunteer with used to bribe her second-graders (at times). Many uses for them.
Tried using white mini- marshmallows or mints for the white areas? - This is such a clever concept (I couldn't keep Smarties long enough to create a new Zealand Flag! Lol)
Good luck tomorrow and the day after....etc
