We weren't together on New Years Eve so had a bit of fun on Jan 1st playing with sparklers. (Well they played, I watched). George (who is much cleverer than me) set the camera to do really long exposures and we got hearts, smiles and some odd writing too!

What a great shot! I have yet to figure out how to do light writing, if you can believe that! Plus it takes two people and it's only me and I don't have an object to write with anyway! This is a nice way to end a year and start a new one... with a smile. Nice job!
