Well, my get pushed challenge was to capture love at Christmas. I fancied making some heart-shaped bokeh with my dslr but the results were far from lovely...this was the best and funniest.
Any tips are much appreciated, I remember doing miles better with my little P&S and its miniscule lens, thought it would be simpler with the dslr so intend to try this again. Tried a high f-stop but the camera gave it a really long exposure too... I got this by pre-focusing on my finger in the foreground and switching off the lights on a delayed exposure... I think!
Hope you all had a super Christmas and are recovering! Thank you for your views and comments this week, mwah ! :)
@palmilla I hoped to do better than this, but for now this is the only capture of 'love' at Christmas that I have managed. Saw lots of tender moments between family on Christmas Day but they seemed too personal to snap :) I love my tree though - I've had it since 1989 when then-husband refused to buy a real-live tree. My sisters and I swap little decorations each year and lots of the others were bought pre-divorce so they have sentimental memories too :)
When I figure out the shaped bokeh properly I'll tag you back in! =)
