Bit of a diary shot... my eyesight was changing so much that me specs were on and off my face more often than the chill in the air... Anyway, decided to take the plunge and try varifocal contact lenses. Oh yes, the woossy squeamish scaredycat can now put them in, take them out (just) and it's early days but goodness me what a joy already to not be looking for specs every few minutes. I can see clearly now the specs have gone.....!
Thanks so much for your kind comments and for stopping by to view poor Oscar.. he is a sweet dog and usually gorgeous rich brown colours. Fingers crossed his leg recovers and he gets out of the cone of shame quickly :)

Wow! Good for you! I'd love to wear contacts but I've tried them in the past and seemed to be allergic-my eyes turned red- so I'm stuck behind glasses...maybe I'll give it another go? You've inspired me.
This is a great shot and nice catch lights in the eye. I hope they work for you. I've gotten to the point that I wear my glasses to take a picture and drive. Around the house and especially the computer screen is a major problem.
You have such lovely eyes, Phil! This is a great shot! I am thinking of going to my eye doc to get contact lenses if they put me back in pool therapy so I can see. They don't let you wear your glasses in the pool. You are precious! Well done :)
