It could have been a very long wait while George helped out at the Civic Memorial Service, thankfully there was a pet/garden centre nearby...! This little guy was fascinating - his eyes rotate independently of each other and he has several fingers on each side of his hands rather than just thumbs. Oh, and he can change colour..!
Chuffed witless with all your kind comments and views and just being there-ness. Thank you Mwah!
These chameleons are quite comical. I once looked after one for someone while they were on holiday. I was terrified that I was going to kill it and was very relieved to give it back alive.
Great capture. I am you get-pushed partner for this coming week. You have a wonderful collection of pictures. I noticed that you don't have many pictures of buildings. The ones you do are mostly of older architecture. So my challenge to you is to take a picture of a building built in the last 50 years.
@psychographer Hi Lisa! Yes, I think he was - he was behind glass too! (Clearly cleaner glass than mine at home....) The greenery was all plastic which was a shame for his friend who kept darting out a huge tongue in an effort to eat it....!
Wow, Phil! What an amazing shot. Such vibrant color and excellent detail. You can see the texture of his skin (or is it called something else?). What a super shot. Fave
love their colour too
