Whizz bang fizz crackle pop (12/52) (Nice on black btw!!)
An early bonfire night's party last night, went to nearby Moggerhanger House with Cathy and watched and oohed and aahed in all the right places. Took looads of photos but this - of the finale - was about the best as nearly all the others had either camera shake or perhaps wind-blow. yes I'm sure it was wind-blow...! . I was leaning the camera on Cathy's shoulder at the time and am sure this had something to do with the clarity, I'll find a wall or fencepost or even tripod next time. Upped the colours a little bit too.
Over the moon with all the positive reactions to my dewdrop shot last week - it was very simple, just very close to the grass pointing towards the sun and focusing on the nearby droplets in macro mode. Darkened it a little afterwards which I think made the sparkle more effective. It very kind to comment / view / fave - thank you very much for that and indeed calling by here today. :)
spectacular finale Phil. I think your idea of project 52 is great. As much as I love photography and connecting with people on 365, I don't know how you did it everyday for 3 years.
Great shot, Phil! Love the colors and the detail. Such a pretty display! I have been hearing fireworks going off like mad over there via Skype. Sometimes I get hung out the window so I can see them going off (I take pictures via Skype) and they are lovely. I even wear my poppy when I go out! :) Fav!
