The highlight of my week - a trip with 2 of our school children to the Houses of Parliament, to have a tour inside and a meeting with our MP. It was brilliant - I hadn't realised that tours were so easily available (UK 365ers contact your MP for a free tour!) and that it would be so fabulous inside. Such hallowed halls and such a hive of activity. I stood a few feet from where HM read the Queen's speech last week and just outside the door where PMQs were taking place (so close yet so far!)
This was taken within the courtyard, a familiar sight from a different viewpoint. :)
