Thought perhaps a macro shot would tide me over a bit longer until the sun came out again... This is a healthy green leaf on my Christmas poinsettia which is now looking a little sparse but I'm too soft to 'recycle' it yet... there may be life in the old thing yet. (Story of my life!)

Great capture! My poinsettia went out into the garden last weekend! It was looking very sorry for itself with leaves dropping off daily. I kill one off every year! Lol!
Lovely close-up. Great light and high-key background. About getting rid of stuff - I tend to hang on to things as well (might need it one day ;-) but I have just set myself a new challenge: It is a "Get rid of 1000 things" project. I have 1 year to do it - started this month and so far i'm at 50 (and that includes an old camera monopod ;-)
