This 'Saturday sky' picture was taken just after leaving my little girl (age 19) at Gatwick Airport, from where she was travelling by herself to Sri Lanka, via Kiev, to do 3 weeks' volunteering with marine life and conservation. I knew she would have a wonderful time and fabulous experience... but forgive me if the shot isn't quite crisp as my hands were shaking a bit and my vision wasn't all it might be... (It isn't her plane, of course).
Delighted you called by - thank you. I've almost caught up and the realisation is making me giddy!! Now to do Sunday's shot and catch up with you all. The house is blissfully quiet after the rush of collecting her from Uni last weekend and getting all her stuff, shopping, holdall etc ready for her trip. Shame work got in the way, really...!
