Glow worm collage (it's dodgy but believe me it's better than the huge spider I shot..)
Well, when my friend told me that her friend had seen glow worms in Hertfordshire I was taken aback and keen to investigate with her... We were given very vague directions and ended up driving around for miles then just abandoning the car and setting off down the first footpath we could see that was vaguely in the vicinity. (Hexton chalk pits) It was a beautiful clear night and the chalky footpath was lit by the almost full moon. Oh my gosh we were on our way back (gone 11pm!) when we spotted one distinctly unmistakeable little bright green glow in the grass at the side of the path. What an adventure. We got home after midnight but very happily :)
So, with little precision or detail, here is my last Macro Monday shot of the month!
