Well folks it finally happened.. a year later than planned, but I finally got 'home' to Sutton Coldfield. The move started as soon as I got up (after a fitful sleep) with the removal chaps knocking on the door at 0655 to find me in my nightie and doing a fish impersonation. Erk! They were like locusts, they packed up, drove 2 hours to Sutton and unpacked then left me at the rented house at 1pm - you'll understand why I was reeling!
We made the beds up, made the lounge comfy, unpacked essentials and got fish and chips for tea. As I prepared to slump into bed I spotted the sun going down... it kind of suited me that it was slightly hidden.. no doubt all will become clearer in due course.
I've decided to upload from the move onwards and backfill over time with old photos from Northill, which I miss but I'm so happy to be moved that it's all good. :)

Wishing you lots of happiness in your new home Phil!! Always exhausting moving but at least you got your bed made ready to fall into it!! Good luck with the unpacking and finding places for everything!! LOL!!
Beautiful end to what I am sure was a very exhausting day. I'm glad all went well. In time you will find a place for everything and hopefully remember where you put most of it.
