We set the alarm early so that we could have an early breakfast and enjoy a quick swim in the pool with everything packed up before flying home. I was rather pleased at the view, and the way my camera picked up more light.
It might seem daft to go to Tenerife for just 4 nights but they were precious.. I really needed a rest and my dear boy looked rested and relaxed by the time we departed after untold stress and long hours before we set off. It was unusual to spend time alone together and I treasured it.

A very early start to your day, it's almost dark! Just a short break does you so much good, it doesn't take long to fly to Tenerife! You made the most of your time anyway!
