I was so glad that I called to see him - apparently the recent 'tummy upset' was appendicitis. (long intake of breath at that news) He has been working so hard in a trendy bar doing as many shifts as he can while the demand is high, and as we relaxed with a cuppa in his little flat he showed me some shots he also had taken for his boss - arty shots of their cocktails. His love of photography and editing lives on :) And at least some of the work is fun ...
