My friend gave me a little fir tree (about 50cm high) which I put in my porch... I'm waiting patiently to move house so haven't got the house decorated but felt I had to show willing or look the only misery in the street. The porch's windows were covered with foggy condensation outside and I thought the result was rather more spectacular than the tree in reality!
