I don't know what it is but I found it in the staff-room and had to get a photo of it 22.1.14

It was propped up by the window, the lunchtime light coming through was just too good to miss. Gave it a bit of a boost and darkened it a little.
Now you know me - I'm not an abstracty-sort of girl at all ... and am a bit irkled that this isn't straight. SO... all ye experienced and clear-seeing arty-abstract-types, guide me...
should I
-make it more angled so it doesn't look slightly squiffy
-crop it more heavily
-make it B&W
-throw it away and go back to daisies?
Your honest feedback will be appreciated (I think)

#Since found out that it's the cover for the fluorescent light
Looks just great the way it is. Beautiful blue shades, interesting pattern and a upward focus to infinity.

Try all the alternatives and see what you like best? I fiddle with abstracts. This is fun

I thought it was a sky scraper at first - then I read it was on a window sill so obviously not!

Makes a great shot whatever it is!

Great shot, Phil! I wouldn't change a thing!! This is perfect! The color and the shininess of the object is captured quite well. It's a great abstract! Well done! :)

I apologize for my absence. My back has been really bad and I am just getting back on now. I have a bunch of pics to upload but I wanted to get to friends' photos first. My back is better today so I shouldn't have long absences like this for a bit (hopefully!!).

I remember I was about to comment on this one. The blue looks great, keep it. Edit out the stuff in the background on the right and you're done, ready to travel into space.

Nicely spotted Phil! I can't do abstracts too well myself so won't give any advice other than to say it looks great to me!
