Jack Frost's Kisses 11.2.12

Gosh it was cold - minus ten at 7am and apparently down to around minus 16 overnight. Sorry that we Brits go on about the weather, we get so much mild weather all-year-round that when the cold/hot extremes hit us we really notice it! Loved these specks of frost all over the car and also the snowflake pattern on my wing-mirror, couldn't decide which to post so made the most of my 2 albums! Keep warm everyone!

Thank you for your kind comments on the little cottage across the pond or the snowflakes falling - so glad you liked it and so grateful you took the time to view or comment. :)
Gerroff with your cold kisses, Mr Frost! (Even if they are very pretty!) :-)

The patterns from ice create an iceweb

Good shot and a nice title! It's fascinating how the more extreme cold (-10C) produces the finer, more delicate frost. Saturday was a 'winter wonderland' here with the overnight frost.

wow! this one looks even better! I'll hopefully spend a few days in the Alps in a few weeks: might steal your idea...

Such pretty patterns - so cold - it was really hot here today I had the airconditioner on until the evening when a bit of a cool change came through with the rain.

Great shot! England is colder than Norway now! I see stars in the image so you could tag it for this week's theme.

I've always loved the patterns frost makes on windows. That's the only good thing about winter.

Wow! On first look I thought this was some kind of flock of birds. Lovely frosty shot. Don't go out there!
