Where the snow meets the sky (A whiter shade of pale) 23.3.13
Ok... I'm on the verge of taking back the complaints. The snow is thawing and instead we have lots of dull black ground. I don't welcome more snow but thought I should post this one before I get the feeling back in my fingers and forget what it looked like without rain. Took it at a favourite point for sunset shots, but you can see there was no sunset here and in fact it was so dull that the camera flashed accidentally, picking up some snowflakes. I lightened it and saturated it and the result is almost prettier than thick black soil..?!
I've gone back and tagged shots from the same spot 'Phil-hill-view' if you want to compare.
Thank y'all for calling by :)
Great capture of our 'pleasant' month of March. I love the emptiness of the shot, the trees just bringing it into focus. It feels lonely and cold indeed!
Great shot! I love it! Well... not that you have it, because that white stuff is quite the bitch (pardon my "french") but it does make it nice for photographs! Just not fun to take them in because, yes, you're fingers and hands tend to lose feeling just after 5 or 6 minutes! You did really well on this, Phil!! Fav :D
