Riding the Wind 5.4.13

Saw this rather lovely weather vane today at Wood Green Animal Shelter and took a quick shot of it for Shirley Banford who has been posting weather vanes recently!
We did very well at Wood Green - I came home with my own 2 children and no extra animals. An accomplishment I'm sure you'd agree.
@sabanford This one is for you - hope you like it! Wasn't tall enough to miss the roof too...! Love to all :)

Wow. Lovely weathervane. I love all the different weathervanes around the world here on 365.

I like weather vanes, I have one in my garden of a witch flying over the town (me?) posted 14/3. Well done for returning pet-less, those little animals tug at the heart. Great shot with blue sky background, that wind needs to point West for warmth :)

Blue sky and a weather vane bit if a result. Are you sure the result was to come home with 1 dog and no kids!!!!!!

Very ornate weather vane. Nice capture.

@padlock I see your point. Most of the dogs wouldn't live with cats, except for one an alaskan husky called Arnie .. from his name you can probably guess his size. If I had left the children behind I could have ended up with no kids, no cats and one dog to go for walks with me. Hm May have to rethink my strategy......!!

Great how the cloud follows the lines of the coach and horses. Lovely shot against the blue sky

Great shot. Love the way the sky acts as a back drop. Great job, Phil :)
