Neanderthal Oscuro 8.6.14

I went out to burn the garden rubbish and thought I'd try to get a shot of the sparks flying.. I balanced the camera on the bench, set on a delayed longer-exposure, then agitated the fire with a stick and this was the result. Didn't mean to get myself in there but thought it made for a different (for me) sort of chiaroscuro shot as per my get-pushed challenge from Brian. I straightened it, otherwise it's sooc. The fire glows more on black if you feel so inclined to click.
So chuffed that you called by - thank you 8)

Nice shot, Phil. It does look brighter on the black. I love fire. I have yet to get a fire shot. I don't have a place to set things on fire around here. It's cool you got yourself in the photo. It looks like you're prepping a campfire.
