Almost forgot this one... on our way back to the car Cathy spotted several long-stemmed, beautiful red roses strewn by the tide. We wondered who had thrown them and why, and hoped it was for a happy reason rather than a heart-broken one.
Thank you for all your lovely comments on my red unpeeled chinese lantern (sounds so glamorous, doesn't it!) - glad you liked it.
#My 'boots/shoes' shot will follow in my main album soon...!
Off to Norwich for a short stay - have a cracking weekend everyone!
I want to take a dozen red roses to the ocean and toss them in for my mom, as she is buried in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Maine and that's the only way that I will be able to pay my respects. I did once go out to her coordinates on my sister's sailboat with her husband and my daughter but it was too foggy to see anything. So it could be someone paying their respects... Wow that was a long lead in!! This is a very great shot. You captured the rose, the sand, and the sky quite perfectly. Well done!
