Doesn't begin to do it justice but you've got to try...!
I started this project mid-August 2011 - but this was the biggest adventure of my life to date and I felt that I had to include some shots of it in there somewhere...!
My sister won a trip to Las Vegas & the grand canyon back in 1998, I went with her, but missed hubby and my 2-year-old George terribly. As I stood about here, I was so bowled away with it all that I promised myself I would take 'my boys' there when the youngest was 10. Well happily the youngest turned out to be a girl and sadly by the time she was 10 my husband had left us. I remembered my promise, though, and with a deep breath took them there by myself. It was quite a challenge, but when I stood at the edge of this awesome place with them, saw their reaction and remembered my promise I felt a wave of achievement and excited contentment like no other.
This was one of those moments I shall remember for all my life...... :)
I know this is a long time ago but feel it deserves a comment. Incredible capture and a heartfelt story to go with it. Easy to see why you use it for your wallpaper image.
