My attention was caught by a plane .. I live near the flightpath for Birmingham International and have really really noticed the drop in air traffic! This little plane, far up, dissected the cloud and it reminded me of a heart with arrow through. Sharing it for you all as a whimsical message of hope from high :)
Keep safe. Thanks for calling by my little lockdown project mwah
@dh Hi there! We're doing ok, thank you. Not every day is good but I know it could be so much worse! Cathy is stuck up at Uni in Lancaster since she went back for her boyfriend's 21st birthday just as lockdown was announced. George & his girlfriend are living with me and quite companiably getting on with it and we have food, cats and open parkland nearby for walking. So far so good. How about you?
@filsie65 Things here are stressful! My husband was made redundant from Thomas Cook in September. He finally found a job and was about to start in March.... in Italy! Needless to say that hasn't happened. If the company survives, hopefully he will have a job at the end, but that's not at all certain. Anyway, we put the house on the market in preparation and financially we still need to move, so next Thursday we are due to exchange and complete on our house sale and we're temporarily going to move into my sister's castle in Wales (not a bad fall back option!). Both the kids are with us at the moment, so they're going to move to the castle as well, until they can return to their normal lives.
@dh Oh gosh what bad timing all 'round. I hope things go through all right - I moved from the house in Bedfordshire to a rented house in Sutton, which gave me time to look around and power to my elbow when it came to making a move. If the market takes a tumble the timing could help you... hope so. Take care, keep smiling :) x
