Good lord there was a such a mess! There are dust sheets under that pile somewhere. George is so much taller than me so he attacked the tall stairwell and this is the happy result. If I ever show you photos of the lounge/dining room walls / ceiling anaglypta being scraped send out the wine..?!
Hope you are keeping well and sane and smiling :)
Well done, great effort and a photo you will look back on with a sense of achievement in years to come. Our previous house was cempletely decorated in anaglypta and wood chip - up to three very different patterns per room... We removed it from the bathroom and just repainted elsewhere, then moved and left the problem for the next owners...
Looks pretty much like our living room atm, but one more coat of paint and then we start cleaning up and putting everything back where it belongs :-) After that it is time to tackle the hall........
Anaglypta was hailed as a wonderful thing fir covering uneven walls & I have had a few covered in that nightmare stuff! That embossed sort of stuff on the ceiling is worse though...would make you cry! Glad it’s you not me & as long as the wall underneath is ok it will be fine!
