Stained glass church window

Tried this out earlier in the week and back today for another attempt. Still not entirely happy with it so any tips/comments would be most welcome.

I think you are too hard, cant see anything wrong. In fact I consider this a very good photograph.

I agree, this is a fab shot! Stained glass windows are tough to photograph but I think you've done a great job.

I think you've captured the colours and the beautiful shape very well. I would try to get the whole of that little window at the top in the frame. Also you can get rid of the tapering effect caused by looking up at the window in Photoshop or similar. In P'shop it's called skewing and it gives you little handles on the corners of the image that you pull to get the lines straight.

Thanks Sheila. The tapering was really bugging me and I thought there would be something that would fix it. I'm a novice at this so at the moment don't have Photoshop or similar but definitely something to think about in the future.
