Fritillaries

Spoilt for choice today at Westbury Court Gardens but I have been waiting for these to come out so they won. Fritillaries seem to like dapply shade and I like the bit of sunlight creating a lime colour in the background.

Yes, the pattern is a little like a chessboard. Also reminds me of snake skin. @masai
