As I went to get water for my brother's plants today I was getting dive-bombed by swallows and could then see where their nest was. There was a bit of wing flexing by the one on the outside so guess they will be flying off very soon.
I was also excited by the robins who have nested in a box in the cowshed (my future home). The adults (who look worn out and very ragged) were calling to the young to come on out. This is the second brood out of the box and I'm so pleased they haven't been discovered by any predators. Clever robins!
