Sunday seems to be my day for river walks and this morning was no exception. I walked part of the Severn Way and heard many birds including skylarks and the breeze blowing through a sea of new reeds. I saw butterflies and moths, caterpillars and this little beauty which I've never seen before. At first I thought it was just in the reeds but I then realised it was growing in water. Such a lovely surprise.
It was a super walk with no man-made sounds - just the birds, the river and the breeze. Wild but perfect!
