Forest of Dean Foxgloves - 30 Days Wild 24

A few weeks ago this area was covered with bluebells but now it's the turn of the foxgloves to shine. I have to confess I didn't hang around as there was lots of rustling in the undergrowth and I was the only person there - it could have been the boar that roam the forest or the big bad wolf!
Lovely depth to your photo.

Beautiful shot Ann. Rustling in the undergrowth is always a tad disconcerting!

Beautiful color - isn't it amazing how the woods and fields change totally. Lovely dof - don't like the rustling when I can't see what's making it!

Beautiful detailed shot Ann. The wild boar seen to be thriving and increasing I don't blame you for being cautious. I'm always wary when I'm in that area!!

Love foxgloves. Great detail in this shot. I would also be running if I thought there were wild boar about.

The foxgloves are beautiful and despite only stopping there shortly you managed to take a brilliant shot.

They are fabulous flowers. Would love to see a boar, but at the same it would probably be rather scary!
