When I went into the cellar this morning there were two little swallows on the floor and it looked like they had either come out of the nest too soon or been pushed out (there was a big fat one left in the nest).
I really thought they would die but the parents fed them throughout the week and by the weekend they were swooping and flying in the skies. Another week on and they still return to the nest and dive-bomb me as I go through the door.
Lovely! So cute. Many birds leave the nest before they're really independent and are fed in the bushes and such before they properly fly and fend for themselves.
