I used to fish at Newmans Lake near Lydney back in the 60's, doubt this is the same one, it is lovely though and yesterdays and todays photos show that.

@lavenderhouse Newmans lake is still there for fishing in Lydney. Mallards Pike is on the road between Blakeney and Speech House and is run/owned by the Forestry Commission. Small world, you knowing Lydney Malcolm.
