Across the River Severn by flowerfairyann

Across the River Severn

Taken at Newnham looking across to Arlingham. There used to be a ferry running between these two villages (way before my time) and the slipways are still visible at low tide.

It was bright and sunny this morning but I was busy in the kitchen. Then it rained. Sorry, it's another sunset but it's all I've managed to get today.
Never be sorry for a sunset. I never tire of them.

Horace Cook still owns the rights for that ferry, and some years ago he was considering starting again, but nothing came of it.

Lovely pink tones in the sky and very nice framing Ann.

Winter weather sure makes picture taking a challenge on a daily basis - this is quite pretty - like the silhouetted grass in the foreground to show up those sunset colors.

I like the light water and sky and the dark foliage outlining the river :)
