Rainbow (on a tree)

I'm hoping Louise might be able to name this fungus for me. It looked just like a rainbow and is one I've never seen/noticed before.

I tried capturing some fungus looking like this, only it didn't come out as well as this has. It is amazing what nature gets up to. Good capture.
