The starlings gathered on this set of wires this evening, the swallows on the next set along. The noise sounded like an orchestra tuning up - quite amazing really.
Must have been an lot of noise! It's geese forming orchestra's round here at the moment. they are in the recently harvested fields every morning and evening.
