Tulips... by flowerfairyann

Tulips...

... in my brother's courtyard. He has lost so many tulips to a cheeky squirrel who has decided the bulbs, as the blooms appear, are quite a delicacy. The stems are ripped off at the base and the bulbs either eaten on the spot or buried in my garden. These are surviving so far but no doubt he/she will be back for more for tonight's feast.
So pretty! I love tulips. Do they double up every year?

@janemartin Unfortunately not Jane. Think they'll be planted in the garden next year and flower again but not doubling.

Lovely flowers and cheeky squirrel. We have ring tail possums that eat our flowers, their favourites are frangipani flowers and star jasmine.
