Bubble Gum Alley

I know this is probably gross, that’s what most folks say, yet they can’t keep themselves from walking down it. This is what they call “Bubble Gum Alley” in San Luis Obispo, California. If you have chewed up gum to deposit this is where you would do it in this town. I have lived here almost 10 years and it was like this before I moved here.

@ccl1313 Yes it is. The blond girl made a remark about it being disgusting and then proceeded to walk down the alley and check it out. I walk down it all the time, but am very careful not to touch the walls. =D

@vskolnik It is off of Higuera Street near Mo Tav between Garden and Broad streets. If you come up this way again, check it out. It really is gross.

@ccl1313 Probably MTV they came here to film one of their shows and they did part of it at Bubble Gum Alley. BGA has also been mentioned in the National Geographic, that was a few years ago..

It is kind of yucky but a great photo of it. I agree, not something to touch. Somehow I never envisioned something like this in San Luis Obispo.
