As we were hiking, we ran into a retired ranger. He asked us if we saw the Hazelnut tree, he said it was in full bloom and the flowers were red. We of course said no we did not and then he laughed. He said you need a magnifying glass to see the blossom. The ranger then took us back to a tree and showed us. I used several macro rings to get these shots. Not the best, but you can see the blossoms. Remember these have been magnified.
