Morro Rock

This is a famous landmark here on the Central Coast. It is where the bay meets the ocean located of course in Morro Bay, California.

Wow - this is some rock! looks so bare and rocky! Hope nobody gets injured climbing this rock!

@maggiemae Actually it is illegal to climb the rock. Only two people are ever allowed to climb the rock and it is on the winter solstice. They are Chumash Indians and they climb up there to do the Indian Winter Solstice rituals. I went one year to watch. Very interesting.
