Oppressed

Get on out of your head!
What you think in your bed
Has you trapped, trodden down
By the same endless sound
Worthless webs of gloomy words
Sour milk, lemon curds
Vinegar, are more sweet
Than your mind’s self-belief
Could be wrong, could be right
Matters not in your plight

Leave behind gloomy thought
Help is here, come be taught
To let go and redeploy
Feel the pain, feel the joy
Feel disgust, feel the fear
Find surprise in feeling real
These two pose so nicely together... what's going on in their heads I wonder.

Are these two feeling overwhelmed by the size of things around them? Have they blown things out of all proportion? I do hope they can leave behind gloomy thought.

I just love these two in their similar pose. The poem captures the emotion in scene so well.
