hi Francoise, have you ever done HDR photography? not sure what software you use, but it is done by either bringing out the detail in the shadows in one photo, or combining three different exposures of the same scene, one under exposed for the highlights, one medium and one over exposed for the shadows then combining them in software, let me know if this is too technical, i can come up with something else.
@kali66 I will investigate. I've done emulation of HDR in Gimp and I sort of know how to do that, but I've never actually combined photos. I do have a tripod as it seems one would need the exact same shot...
yes, tripod would be needed , unfortunately your camera cant do exposure bracketing so you would have to use shutter speed to get your three exposures manually.
