current boots. Actually, the jacket is a bit much in the current summer weather, but it seemed to make a better picture. Also, in reality, when I am home I traipse around in rubber boots when in the woods/fields because most of the time they're the only item that keeps my socks dry...
A second shot for get-pushed challenge from @newbank to display my hobbies/interests. Walking around is what I do for fun, for thinking, for worrying, for writing, for solitude, for conversations, for chatting on the cell phone and even for gettig from here to there (though living in the country makes that aspect of walking slightly less viable).
I love this photo! I like the colors and the various textures, especially the contrast between the rough shoes and the soft jacket, but what I really like are the shoes themselves. I have a very similiar pair and they have gone all over the world with me- slushed through snow in Russia, climbed a mountain in Peru, walked through mud and cow dung in villages along the Amazon. I'm just flooded with memories when I look at the shoes in your photo. It's definitely a Fav for me.
